What you need

• A referral from your GP or health professional
• No payment: your scan is funded by the NHS

How it works

1. Your GP or health professional refers you to us.
2. Our referral centre calls you to arrange a time at your nearest centre.
3. You attend, and your report goes back to the clinician who referred you.

At Bexhill, appointments are booked by the NHS trust rather than by us.

You want a scan without waiting, and will pay for it directly.

What you need

• No referral needed for many scans
• A referral from any registered health professional is recommended, and required for some scans
• Payment at the time of booking

How it works

1. Tell us which scan you need, or describe your symptoms and we will advise.
2. We confirm the price and offer you an appointment.
3. You attend, and your report is sent to you and to any clinician you nominate.

You have PMI cover and want your insurer to pay.

What you need

• A referral from a registered health professional
• A pre-authorisation code from your insurer, obtained before you book
• Your policy number and insurer details

How it works

1. Get a referral, then call your insurer for a pre-authorisation code.
2. Call us with the code and we will book you in.
3. We invoice your insurer directly.
